The Autumn season is normally dry and cool. Winds begin to pick up during this season, and leaves begin to change color and fall off of trees, there is also a glut of starch based fruit and vegetables available during autumn.

- Nutrition- High Insulin= Feast before Famine= Relative Higher Carb
- Increased fat storage= serotonin into melatonin for hibernation period
- Hence- we crave carbs when we are tired, not when hungry
- High Fibre
- Lots of fruits
- Lots of roots
- Sleep- approx. 8 hours- but a graduated earlier bedtime to transition to winter.
- Movement- Greater, potentially more intense and sustained movement.
- Stress- A calmer period of refeeding following the frenzy, food scarcity coming too early here would cause great stress.
